Membership of the New Zealand History Federation is open to historical societies and groups, heritage charitable trusts, museums and archives, schools and students, or any group or individual with an interest in New Zealand history. An organisation can be a full member, an individual person an associate member.
Our financial year ends 31 December, and the last date for payment of each year’s subscription is 31 March of that year.
Full Membership entitles you to:
Receive copies of our Keeping in Touch and any other regular publication. We welcome news and information on upcoming events from our member organisations, and will include these in the newsletter where possible.
A listing in our Members Directory on this website, as well as a page on the website should you wish to have one.
Participation in any workshops organised by the NZ History Federation.
Full membership (see below) entitles each member organisation one vote at any general meeting called by the NZ History Federation, exercised by a voting delegate.
The NZ History Federation can provide written confirmation of membership (i e of a National body) for organisations requiring this for an application for funding for a project from a variety of Agencies, such as Lotteries Commission, ASB Community Trust, etc., as well as letters of support for your application.
Individual or Associate Membership entitles you to:

Participation in any workshops and other events organised by the NZ History Federation.
You may attend our annual conferences and annual general meetings, but you would not have voting rights.

Level B
Organisations with 21 plus Members
$50.00 per year

Museums and other institutions
